The Gruffalo

In room 4 we were learning all about our student teachers favourite book and that was the gruffalo. so we learned about the characters and made some videos and did little activities and made a gruffalo play it was really cool. this is my poster I had to write about the inside which is his personality and the outside is what he looks like.

God Of War

In room 4 we had a debate on what topic we should learn about and room 4 chose Myths and Legends.we learned about all the gods and watched some videos

Camp Writing

It was a really nice sunny day at camp raglan with not 1 cloud in the sky so everyone was wearing hats and sunscreen. Everyone started of with having lots of fun with so many activities.

When it was  free time bob,chelsey,jade and April went to their cabins and sat down and talked because they were so tired of the activities. The day went quick and just in a blink of the eye everyone was sound asleep. Well the g7 sleeping group were wide awake and really hungry then they saw there was  food left in the hall they couldn't resist not having at least 1 biscuit and they thought nobody would know so they went of together to get some biscuits.  They didn't realise that those were for afternoon tea for all the campers. They come back relieved that they didn't get caught. Another day went by of challenging amazing activities and then it was night they were still hungry so they grabbed not just biscuits but 3 whole plates full of food crackers,dips,chips, lollies everything. The teachers didn't notice a few biscuits but definitely noticed 3 plates they start investigating. The next day everyone gets called into the hall the teachers look very angry. They said… 1 OR 2 GROUPS HAVE BEEN TAKING FOOD DURING THE NIGHT IT NEEDS TO STOP THE GIRLS ARE LOOKING AT EACH OTHER AND WHISPERING I THOUGHT THEY WOULDN'T FIND OUT. After they meeting the girls thought they should stop but Lordez did not want to at all she said they still don't know who it is we can still eat and besides I'm starving after 10 minutes of deciding yes or no we thought OK because Lordez was trying so hard (what a try hard ) so of they went in the freezing cold with their pink pj's and slippers on but this time they walked a different way because they thought the teachers might be awake standing on guard. They walked really really quiet but what they didn't notice was that their was a camp security camera. They carry on grab a few plates of food and the camera caught everything Mrs p had a great idea let's check the footage instead of just watching around waiting to see who it is. They check the footage and see that it was the g7 sleeping group before everyone went asleep there was a meeting Mrs p said I FOUND WHO HAS BEEN STEALING THE FOOD IT IS … THE G7 SLEEPING GROUP EVERYONE STARS AT THE GROUP AND ALL THE Girls has a face as red as a tomato. Mrs rowlands takes charge and all the girls get sent home with angry parents to deal with at home along with a visit to the principal's office

Reflecting About Our Cookbook

Reflection
From making our cookbook I have learnt different maths ways from doing financial literacy and working out the costs,profits,materials, printing and adding up all the totals. I have also learnt how to write out a recipe properly and making visuals to make it look appealing so people will want to buy our book.
I enjoyed cooking of course making my recipes and making other ones from our class cookbook.

We have learnt how to use QR codes and link our work for other people to see. You can download an app called QR Code Scanner  on any android or apple device and if you run your scanner over it it will take you straight to the URL you have linked it to. See where this QR code takes you.

3 Way Conference (term 2)

In week 5 we had our 3 way conferences,where all the parents came in and sees what we have been doing and what our learning goals are. We wrote our Maths,Reading and writing goals we also wrote our highlights of the year and what we have enjoyed we linked our blogs,class site,individual blogs anything extra we wanted to show our parents if we had time.

Chocolate Glossary

In reading we had to make a glossary using some words about chocolate we had to find out the meanings and type them own

Manawatu gorge slip

In reading the Octupus group had to read a book about Manawatu gorge slip and do some activity around it

Sign Language

In room 4 it was sign language week and we had to go on sign ninja and learn some sign language words and we had to try and learn how to do some sign language then we had to get into groups of 3 or 4 and make up a story using all the sign words we know and make a video of us signing the story.

How To Manage Our Time Effectively

for the past few weeks we have been learning to manage our time effectively and interdependently so my class and I all made up 5 key points we could use to put on a check list the key points are prioritize,Timeline,Check,Task and Initiative.

Have A Go Day

Yesterday we had a have a go day we played Rippa Rugby,turbo Touch,Handball,Futsal,Ultumate frisbee My favourite activity was futsal because I liked how they called a random amount of people to go on the field and work really hard together to get that goal.
